Challenge: Take a single site system and build a solution that allows for growth over multiple markets but maintain control of the brand.

Solution1: Rebranding campaign was incited to take  and change the name Broome Real Estate and make it into Broomebyowner.com. By doing so we allowed for the opportunity of a whateverbyowner.com. This would allow us to be able to make the brand expand into multiple markets as well as allow the programming to be simplified.

Solution2: Broome Real Estate is one of the few sites that we mixed  two content management systems to manage the site. Being that the intended goal was to grow Broomebyowner.com but maintain the brand, we decided to used wordpress to manage the theme in which the entire system resided. By doing this the owners, would have full control of the look and feel, as well as the content that was placed on each page. A custom CMS was then built to manage the properties in the site. Each location would only have access to the custom CMS while the owners had full access to the entire site.

Launching in 2008, the system had 6 sites associated with it and was poised to grow.

Over the last few years BroomeRealEstate.com has had a few small facelifts to help it’s market share in the Binghamton NY area. Over all BroomeRealEstate.com has held a place in the market as a major competitor in Upstate NY.
